Turning Chaos into Beauty

In my opinion, beauty in the shot is a harmonic total of numerous elements, such as plot, model, clothing, accessories, color, light, movement, visual accents, and a lot more... Even though these elements normally don’t interact in real life, they have to make up an ideal puzzle, a completed picture that will trigger a particular emotion.

Beauty is hard to understand – it has to be felt. The most challenging part of the photoshoot is to technically implement and skillfully convey beauty, harmony, and aesthetics... Sometimes, before taking the first photo, it takes me a couple of hours to create this very beauty in the shot... I can move furniture, shift accessories from place to place, change the model’s clothing, look for a better pose, or emotion, change a shooting angle, etc.

Only when I see that all the elements in the shot match perfectly, do I take the first photo? Of course, things don’t always run smoothly, and photos don’t always come out as desired. Sometimes, there’s a need to repeat the photoshoot if something initially went wrong. Yet, whatever the photo set is, it’s a short period of time when I feel like a creator.
