The brush is quickly jumping across the canvas. The artist’s moves are abrupt… He’s slightly swaying and drawing, drawing, drawing. His eyes are wide open, the whites being specked with red streaks. The artist is in a hurry… He clearly feels the inspiration filling his body and pouring onto the canvas with smears of bright colors… Hours of painstaking work, and here’s the moment of truth – the painting is ready. The final smear… The brush is slowing down. The artist wearily puts it away, closes his eyes, and stands slightly swaying. He keeps standing like that for a minute, two, ten… Then, as if waking up, he slowly, with some unnatural moves, closes the canvas and walks away from the workshop…
Indeed, each painting is a story that clearly reflects its creator… I often visited museums to various cultures. As I was spending hours looking at the pieces of art, I’d always find in them my inspiration which I further expressed in dozens of my photos… They all are echoes of great masterpieces and my imagination, of course.
