Concept
A girl in an old apartment, dressed in a transparent nightgown, enjoys her reflection in a small mirror. The goal is to show the beauty and fragility of a subtle girl's body through the transparent fabric.
Inspiration
A girl looking in the mirror is one of the most prevalent themes in art, and I wanted to express my interpretation of this concept. An old Soviet apartment was chosen as the location for this photoshoot.
Choice of color
Like in most of my photos, I'd like to show the 1970s and 1980s. The room is quite dark, with only one window providing light. Brown and yellow are the most common colors in the location, and I decided to focus on shades of red. Also, to avoid monochrome and boringness, make the photo's light areas (window, fabric, mirror, etc.) a different color, such as blue or greenish.
Wardrobe
I wanted to show the girl's thin, perfect figure, not completely naked. I bought a long, lightweight dress with transparent outer fabric and an opaque lining for these purposes. Later, the lining was removed to create an airy, fully transparent dress/nightgown.
Background
To the girl’s left and behind her are parts of an old apartment, a table with a lace tablecloth, a bookcase, a vintage table lamp, etc. A lace curtain also hangs on the window, enhancing the retro atmosphere. I chose a location with a window behind the model to show the contour of the girls' lines against the light background. Thanks to the light and dark areas of the photo make it even thinner and more graceful.
Hair and make-up
The make-up is light and natural. The face is visible only in the profile, and the make-up is almost absent.
Light
Backlight from a window reflector illumination. As a result, the girl appears as a dark outline, but her body lines and breast are visible. In this case, it's the best outcome. If you use additional lightings, such as a lamp or flash, the girl will be too lit, simplifying the photo.
Posing
I wanted to highlight the model's subtle and graceful figure. To achieve this effect, I turned the model sideways, her hips were in contact with the table, and she was slightly turned towards the camera. In this pose, all beauty is visible in the frame. Because the model has beautiful lines, the face is shot in profile. The posture was natural and relaxed. She held a mirror with one hand and leaned on the table with the other; simultaneously, the model looked at her reflection. In this pose, both hands are visible, and the body is beautiful and graceful.

Depth of field
In case the background objects are close enough to the model, I chose an aperture of 1.8 to create a slight blur, directing the viewer's attention to the model. If the background is too sharp, the books will stand out too much, and the background will simply "ripple." If you open the diaphragm fully, by 1.4, the books in the closet will be too blurry, and many exciting details will be lost. Moreover, at a fully open aperture, there is a high likelihood of visible chromatic aberrations in areas where light from a window and dark interior details such as a table lamp combined.
Angle
The angle (shooting point) is essential in this photo and was chosen through experimentation. One of the photo's "highlights" is the girl's hips, and it was important to show them while maintaining the overall composition and perspective. If you move the camera to the left, the girl's face will come in contact with the picture on the wall, and her profile will not be seen. If you move to the right, there will be too many windows in the frame, but the bookcase will be hidden, and the stunning element of the interior will disappear from the frame. Whether you lower the camera, only one hip is visible, which makes the photo more primitive. So, you can raise the camera a little higher.
Cropping
It is done around the model to include the girl and a part of the interior. The model's legs below the dress were not shown in the frame because they would have revealed too much of her figure. It was possible to capture more space around the girl, but it was unnecessary. If cropping is too close to the model, there won't be enough space on the sides.
Expression
The photo is very calm and harmonious. A lovely young nymph enjoys looking in the mirror, and she knows how beautiful she is. This emotion I wanted to see in the photo.
Post-processing
Processing is done in warm colors, with a "film" effect. No bright or high contrast areas. I removed excessive sharpness and added a slight "soft" effect.
Conceito
Uma garota em um apartamento antigo, vestida com uma camisola transparente, aprecia seu reflexo em um pequeno espelho. O objetivo é mostrar a beleza e a fragilidade do corpo sutil de uma menina através do tecido transparente.
Inspiração
Uma menina se olhando no espelho é um dos temas mais prevalentes na arte, e eu queria expressar minha interpretação desse conceito. Um antigo apartamento soviético foi escolhido como local para esta sessão de fotos.
Escolha da cor
Como na maioria das minhas fotos, gostaria de mostrar as décadas de 1970 e 1980. A sala é bastante escura, com apenas uma janela iluminando. Marrom e amarelo são as cores mais comuns no local, e resolvi apostar nos tons de vermelho. Além disso, para evitar monocromia e tédio, deixe as áreas claras da foto (janela, tecido, espelho, etc.) com uma cor diferente, como azul ou esverdeado.
Guarda-roupa
Queria mostrar a figura magra e perfeita da garota, não completamente nua. Comprei para isso um vestido longo e leve, com tecido externo transparente e forro opaco. Posteriormente, o forro foi retirado para criar um vestido/camisa de dormir arejado e totalmente transparente.
Fundo
À esquerda e atrás dela estão partes de um apartamento antigo, uma mesa com toalha de renda, uma estante, um abajur vintage, etc. Uma cortina de renda também está pendurada na janela, realçando o clima retrô. Escolhi um local com janela atrás da modelo para mostrar o contorno das linhas das meninas contra o fundo claro. Graças às áreas claras e escuras da foto, ela fica ainda mais fina e elegante.
Cabelo e maquiagem
A maquiagem é leve e natural. O rosto só é visível de perfil e quase não há maquiagem.
Luz
Luz de fundo de uma iluminação refletor de janela. Como resultado, a menina aparece com um contorno escuro, mas as linhas do corpo e dos seios são visíveis. Neste caso, é o melhor resultado. Se usar iluminações adicionais, como lâmpada ou flash, a menina ficará muito iluminada, simplificando a foto.
Posando
Queria destacar a figura sutil e graciosa da modelo. Para conseguir esse efeito, virei a modelo de lado, seus quadris estavam em contato com a mesa e ela estava levemente voltada para a câmera. Nessa pose, toda a beleza fica visível no quadro. Como a modelo tem linhas lindas, o rosto é fotografado de perfil. A postura era natural e relaxada. Ela segurava um espelho com uma das mãos e apoiava-se na mesa com a outra; simultaneamente, a modelo olhou para seu reflexo. Nesta pose, ambas as mãos ficam visíveis e o corpo é lindo e gracioso.

Profundidade de campo
Caso os objetos de fundo estejam próximos o suficiente do modelo, escolhi uma abertura de 1,8 para criar um leve desfoque, direcionando a atenção do observador para o modelo. Se o fundo for muito nítido, os livros se destacarão demais e o fundo simplesmente “ondulará”. Se você abrir o diafragma totalmente, em 1,4, os livros no armário ficarão muito embaçados e muitos detalhes interessantes serão perdidos. Além disso, com uma abertura totalmente aberta, há uma grande probabilidade de aberrações cromáticas visíveis em áreas onde a luz de uma janela e detalhes interiores escuros, como um candeeiro de mesa, se combinam.
Ângulo
O ângulo (ponto de disparo) é essencial nesta foto e foi escolhido através de experimentação. Um dos “destaques” da foto são os quadris da menina, e era importante mostrá-los mantendo a composição geral e a perspectiva. Se você mover a câmera para a esquerda, o rosto da garota entrará em contato com a foto na parede e seu perfil não será visto. Se você mover para a direita, haverá muitas janelas na moldura, mas a estante ficará oculta e o elemento impressionante do interior desaparecerá da moldura. Quer você abaixe a câmera, apenas um quadril fica visível, o que torna a foto mais primitiva. Assim, você pode elevar a câmera um pouco mais alto.
Recortar
É feito em torno da maquete para incluir a menina e uma parte do interior. As pernas da modelo abaixo do vestido não apareceram na moldura porque revelariam muito de seu corpo. Foi possível captar mais espaço ao redor da garota, mas foi desnecessário. Se o recorte for muito próximo do modelo, não haverá espaço suficiente nas laterais.
Expressão
A foto é muito calma e harmoniosa. Uma adorável jovem ninfa gosta de se olhar no espelho e sabe como é linda. Essa emoção eu queria ver na foto.
Pós-processamento
O processamento é feito em cores quentes, com efeito “filme”. Sem áreas brilhantes ou de alto contraste. Removi a nitidez excessiva e adicionei um leve efeito "suave".
