According to my childhood memories, our house has always been filled with music. This included tape-recorded fairy tales, Modern Talking, ABBA, Antonov – everything that was popular in those years. Even now my feet start to dance to “You're My Heart, You're My Soul”.

Vinyl music cannot be compared with any digital source. It inspires me, gives me pleasure, helps me completely distract from my daily routine and relax after a tough day.

I love to play records to my guests, and sometimes I can share something interesting about them. Indeed, playing a record is an entire ritual for me – it means taking a vinyl out of the bag, blowing off the dust, putting the vinyl on the tape recorder, bringing the needle closer, and the music-playing magic begins.

As you listen to vinyl records, you start taking music differently. You don’t click on songs, don’t jump to the chorus. You play the record and listen to it. You can also look at the sleeve, as the album is an integral piece, where the order of songs and the design are equally important.

I have a big collection of records I’ve been building for several years, and I keep replenishing it. Some people collect only jazz records or only progressive rock of 1972. This is what they call music, while the rest they don’t. It’s not about me. My collection includes a big variety of genres: jazz, country, classical music, movie soundtracks, and contemporary music. The favorite composers of mine, who create real masterpieces: Max Richter, Hans Zimmer and Johann Johansson.
