She stopped and gazed into it. At first all she saw was her reflection – familiar, native, and yet... a little different. It was as if the mirror was showing more than just her face and silhouette. It showed all the softness and strength she had accumulated, and what could not be put into words. Tatiana turned around and walked to the window. The world outside was still noisy and changeable, but there was harmony inside her.
वह रुकी और उसमें झाँकने लगी। पहले तो उसे सिर्फ़ अपना प्रतिबिंब दिखाई दिया - जाना-पहचाना, अपना-सा, और फिर भी... थोड़ा अलग। ऐसा लगा जैसे दर्पण सिर्फ़ उसके चेहरे और आकृति से कहीं ज़्यादा दिखा रहा हो। यह उसकी सारी कोमलता और शक्ति को दिखा रहा था, जिसे शब्दों में बयां नहीं किया जा सकता। तातियाना मुड़ी और खिड़की की ओर चली गई। बाहर की दुनिया अभी भी शोरगुल और परिवर्तनशील थी, लेकिन उसके अंदर सामंजस्य था।
