Art and public opinionArt and public opinion
Among the NYMF users, there are many of those who are somehow related to art. It doesn’t matter if it’s photography, painting, design or architecture. I’m sure each one started their own artistic path and faced public opinion.
I started to deliberately take photos at the age of 33. At that point, my friends would tell me I didn’t need it, it was a waste of time, and I’d be one among many, as there’s a huge number of photographers like me, and only a few of them can actually achieve something. Indeed, these words would make me hesitate and feel unconfident. However, I decided to give up on others’ opinions and go my own way.
Yes, I’ve had some photoshoot failures in my life. Someone would probably agree with others’ opinions and accept the fact that it wasn’t their cup of tea. I took each failure as a powerful motivation for analyzing my mistakes and taking one more step towards professionalism.
I put quite a bit of effort into shaping myself as a photographer, and now I can say for sure that I succeeded. I achieved the desired level and I don’t plan to stop. I’ll keep actively working on my photos in different areas.
I’m very pleased with the fact that my works become “viral” and are actively shared on the Internet. This motivates me to create new masterpieces. I’m happy that my works inspire others to make something new. For instance, my works often become paintings, which come out incredible. Please see one of them below, which was painted by the Lady with Plums photo.
When I get viewers’ feedback, I realize that I’ve made an appropriate choice listening to myself and not to public opinion…
