That vibrant carpet of poppies that had so impressed me was already disappearing. The poppies, as if shedding their colorful garments, were fading into the past, leaving only the memory of their short but exciting life. These photos became for me not only a reflection of the beauty of nature, but also a symbol of the transience of the moment.
