Modesty is Beautiful谦虚是美
For my NYMF photoshoots, I often invite ladies aged from 19 to 30. Yet, sometimes, although quite rarely, I film older women. Such photoshoots give me particular pleasure, especially if it’s the woman’s first experience with nude photography. Such women convey absolutely different emotions. They are shier, and their level of trust is very different. They are much better aware of what’s going on, as getting naked in front of a stranger and a camera for a young lady is not the same as for a mature woman.
The name of the model who was filmed for the “Mature Wine” series is Yana. We shifted this photoshoot a couple of times because it took the lady a while to dare participate in such a photoshoot. However, during one of my visits to Kiev, she decided to take this step. When Yana came to a rented apartment I’d chosen as a venue for the photoshoot, I noticed her confusion and hesitation. She would blush and cast down her eyes in embarrassment, and only a couple of glasses of good wine she’d brought with her let her relax a bit… I admired her, as modesty is beauty not every lady possesses.
我经常邀请 19 至 30 岁的女性参加 NYMF 拍摄。但有时，尽管很少，我也会拍摄年纪较大的女性。这样的拍摄给我带来特别的乐趣，尤其是当女性第一次接触裸体摄影时。这样的女性传达出完全不同的情感。她们更害羞，信任程度也大不相同。她们更清楚发生了什么，因为年轻女性在陌生人和镜头前赤身裸体与成熟女性不同。
参加“成熟葡萄酒”系列拍摄的模特名叫雅娜。我们几次推迟了这次拍摄，因为这位女士花了一段时间才敢参加这样的拍摄。然而，在我访问基辅的一次期间，她决定迈出这一步。当雅娜来到我选择的拍摄地点租住的公寓时，我注意到了她的困惑和犹豫。她会脸红，尴尬地垂下眼睛，只有她带来的几杯好酒才能让她放松一点……我很钦佩她，因为谦虚是一种美，不是每个女士都拥有的。
