The sun was irreconcilably scorching, the desert heat permeating the air. The thermometer showed an incredible 40 degrees, but Polina had no intention of stopping there. She was determined to cool off in the pool's cool water and enjoy the complete freedom of the moment. There was a deep silence all around, disturbed only by the leaves rustling and the distant sea's sounds.
