Large pieces of clay had been languishing in the closet for the whole night. They knew that a charming potter would surely turn them into a beautiful vase sparkling in the sun with all the shades of red, an elegant object with a gold rim and chiselled handles.
It was morning. Once she put on her work clothes and skilfully slipped an apron on her almost naked body, Sophia the potter entered the studio and started to work. Pieces of clay were lying on the table in front of her, and the fire was burning nearby in the furnace. The day was going to be hot...
Clay seemed to be singing and dancing in her hands, transforming in front of her eyes, assuming an elegant shape, turning into a beautiful and graceful vessel. A vessel that will always keep the warmth and tenderness of her hands...
