As you know, I don’t like studio-based shooting and prefer shooting outdoors and in old buildings.
Most frequently, those are old residential apartments, but apart from that, I enjoy shooting in more exotic places, such as an old abandoned plant, factory, school playground or fire station…
Sometimes it’s rather difficult to find an appropriate place for shooting, yet, it’s quite possible. And when I succeed, I’m particularly delighted, as the possibility to turn something old and forsaken into something artistic and give this object a new life is really exciting. A good example in this case is “The ruins of the Empire” photo series shot at the old abandoned plant.
