A round boudoir mirror hid a woman who had experienced a bunch of tenderness – shameless, free, beautiful and brave. A four-angle mirror would reflect a rigorous, imperious, cold figure with a relentless look. In my small hand mirror, I saw a reflection of that naive, bright-eyed girl who reminded me of my early youth.
