Location plays an important role in photography. It often turns out that an appropriate location for idea implementation is extremely hard to find. This may mean having no suitable room, or improper lighting, or a couch where the model has to be filmed is of an inappropriate color and shape. In this case, there’s no need to think about canceling the photoshoot, there’s a need to create the necessary location on your own. And I do this quite frequently…
Let’s take, for instance, the “Mini mouse on the kitchen” photoshoot was made in the ordinary kitchen, where the props were carefully put in appropriate places, and odd ones were hidden from the shot. The highlight of the shot was two similar pot lids, which I arranged in such a way that a viewer could take them for ears, and the models herself for the mouse.
Another vivid example is the photo called “Flute melodies”. This photo was also taken in an ordinary apartment. I put in the background a wicker folding screen to close modern wallpaper. I covered the folding screen with a couple of pieces of a burlap sack I’d bought in the village store. The rest was about outfits and clothing that added to retro style.
The “Sweet dream” photo. The location was a rented apartment. I had a clear idea of what that shot was supposed to look like and realized that a modern apartment wouldn’t perfectly fit my idea. Hence, I decided to add a couple of details. The day before filming I’d bought a couple of meters of fabric of the necessary color and texture. I used it to cover the couch by the window so that it looks beautiful and harmonious. I added another element – a flower vase.
As you can see, the location doesn’t always have to be perfect. Almost every place can be turned into a beautiful location. The most important thing is your imagination and ability to see a desired shot. The rest is a matter of skills.
Der Standort spielt in der Fotografie eine wichtige Rolle. Es stellt sich oft heraus, dass es äußerst schwierig ist, einen geeigneten Ort für die Umsetzung einer Idee zu finden. Das kann bedeuten, dass es keinen geeigneten Raum gibt, die Beleuchtung nicht richtig ist oder die Couch, auf der das Model gefilmt werden soll, eine ungeeignete Farbe und Form hat. In diesem Fall müssen Sie nicht daran denken, das Fotoshooting abzusagen, sondern müssen selbst den nötigen Ort schaffen. Und das mache ich ziemlich häufig ...
Nehmen wir zum Beispiel das Fotoshooting „ Mini-Maus in der Küche “, das in einer gewöhnlichen Küche gemacht wurde, wo die Requisiten sorgfältig an den richtigen Stellen platziert wurden und seltsame aus der Aufnahme ausgeblendet wurden. Das Highlight der Aufnahme waren zwei ähnliche Topfdeckel, die ich so arrangiert habe, dass ein Betrachter sie für Ohren und die Models selbst für die Maus halten konnte.
Ein weiteres anschauliches Beispiel ist das Foto mit dem Titel „ Flötenmelodien “. Auch dieses Foto wurde in einer gewöhnlichen Wohnung aufgenommen. Im Hintergrund habe ich einen Faltschirm aus Korbgeflecht angebracht, um die moderne Tapete abzudecken. Ich bedeckte den Paravent mit ein paar Stücken eines Leinensacks, den ich im Dorfladen gekauft hatte. Der Rest drehte sich um Outfits und Kleidung, die zum Retro-Stil beitrugen.
Das Foto „ Süßer Traum “. Der Einsatzort war eine Mietwohnung. Ich hatte eine klare Vorstellung davon, wie diese Aufnahme aussehen sollte, und erkannte, dass eine moderne Wohnung nicht perfekt zu meiner Vorstellung passen würde. Daher habe ich beschlossen, ein paar Details hinzuzufügen. Am Tag vor den Dreharbeiten hatte ich ein paar Meter Stoff in der nötigen Farbe und Textur gekauft. Ich habe damit die Couch am Fenster abgedeckt, damit sie schön und harmonisch aussieht. Ich habe ein weiteres Element hinzugefügt – eine Blumenvase.
Sie sehen: Der Standort muss nicht immer perfekt sein. Fast jeder Ort kann in einen wunderschönen Ort verwandelt werden. Das Wichtigste ist Ihre Vorstellungskraft und Ihre Fähigkeit, die gewünschte Aufnahme zu sehen. Der Rest ist eine Frage der Fähigkeiten.
