Emotions in Photography

A good photo differs from an ordinary one in the fact that the good one is always emotionally rich. The good photo will never leave anyone indifferent and will always trigger a bunch of emotions.

One of the most important means of expressing emotions in the photo is the emotions of the model herself!

In the shot, your model has to highlight the atmosphere of the photo through her emotion. No matter what it is – joy or sorrow, thoughtfulness or anger – the model is not supposed to be emotionally empty! That's why you have to know how to work with her.

Take a look at my approach to working with models in this video.
